We developed the landscape design with Wm. Saunders for a new campus building at York University. The design provided an attractive, safe thoroughfare and place to meet and relax, while also being robust. 

Developing the landscape design involved drawing together contributions from a wide range of stakeholders whilst balancing the integrity of the design intention in the context of tightening budget constraints.

Design development was achieved through consultation with the design and build contractor to refine the detailed design and improve cost efficiency. During the construction phase Smeeden Foreman provided advice and assistance to the contractor to help deliver the scheme within budget and to the design intent.
