Ecological impact assessment

An Ecological Impact Assessment (EcIA) may be carried out as part of a formal Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) or to support other forms of environmental assessment or appraisal. The impact of the proposed development upon each receptor identified within/adjacent to the site (i.e. individual protected species, habitat type, etc.) would then be considered, to inform the design of mitigation and in turn the residual impact of the development.

Smeeden Foreman have an experienced team of ecologists who have produced EcIA for a range of development types including large industrial units, holiday villages and Biomass units.
